‘IMAGINING ULYSSES’

David Blake-Knox & Hilary Fennell of Blueprint Pictures introduce ‘Imagining Ulysses’, a film they co-produced for RTE. Join us for a special screening of this highly original and award-winning documentary on the writing and reading of Joyce’s epic novel.

ULYSSES IN TRANSLATION

On the 80th anniversary of the first French translation of the novel, Sam Slote of Trinity College discusses Ulysses in translation, the first French translation, and ‘Déjeuner Ulysse’, the very first commemoration of Ulysses. Presented in association with Alliance Francaise. Free event.

Our MC, Leo Enright hosts a star-studded afternoon of readings and songs from Ulysses. Joyceans of all ages and backgrounds are welcome to join in, so come one, come all, and read your favourite few words from the book of day!
