The Lismore Festival of Travel writing takes place in June each year and is the only one of its kind in the world. Focusing on travel writing and literature, a different theme is explored annuallly. Literary presentations by national and international writers, workshops, film and exhibitons are the main components of this event which is augmentated by ancillary events in other areas of mainstream literature. Headlining will be a series of literary presentations by top national and international travel writers. The weekend will also feature: an antiquarian book fair, International visual arts exhibition at Lismore Castle , arts, exhibitions on Lismore Library and street artists, book signings and book readings.
